Senior Logistics Planner at Old Dutch Mustard Co. Inc d/b/a Pilgrim Foods in Greenville, NH

Oversee and coordinate logistics, procurement and production planning activities. Oversee and make management-level decisions for day-to-day operations of all Material Resource

Planning and Procurement activities. Responsible for in-bound and out-bound logistics activities along with procurement of raw materials to ensure availability and allocation of materials,

supplies, and finished products to end customers. Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for entire life cycle of the vinegar and mustard finished products.
  2. Oversee all transportation and driver activities executed by the Transportation Manager.
  3. Maintain and develop positive business relationships with carriers involved with in-bound and out-bound operations of Old Dutch Vinegar & Mustard.
  4. Monitor transport costs and execute cost savings by negotiating and bargaining with different carriers/brokers through RFP activities.
  5. Ensure availability and allocation of materials, supplies for the company and finished goods to the end consumers.
  6. Responsible for ensuring all orders are fulfilled on time, in-full.
  7. Analyze and plan material requirements by determining the quantity and date materials are needed to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  8. Place packaging / ingredient orders to suppliers to maintain safety stock inventory and production needs.
  9. Oversee arrangement of timely deliveries of all materials & supplies required for manufacturing to meet scheduled production.
  10. Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  11. Determine the root cause of issues and develop and implement corrective actions.
  12. Maintain positive working relationships with all levels of management and employees.
  13. Use ERP software, such as NetSuite and the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for lookups, pivot tables.
  14. Create and professionally generate production metrics and management reports.

Supervise CDL-A Drivers (3) and Inventory Control Specialist (1).

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or closely related field and two (2) years of supply chain experience.
